Erwin Urbien

Born in Baguio City and married to fellow instructor Mary Josephine Urbien, Erwin has long been passionate about dance.

What began as a love for movement in his youth evolved into a full-time profession—locally and internationally. He trained under professional dance teachers to earn his teaching licenses and continues to study various styles to stay up-to-date and inspired.

Originally a hip-hop choreographer, Erwin has since expanded his expertise to include ballroom choreography for a variety of special events, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and dance fitness sessions. While he was a licensed Zumba instructor from 2011 to 2023, his current focus is on teaching Argentine Tango, seeing greater potential for his family’s future in this discipline.
