Deirdre Kyranmir C. Palaruan a.k.a. Heidra | Pop Blossom

Kyra, also known as DeeDee, is a Professional Dance Artist from Baguio City. She is the Founder and Creative Director of Sining Bahay Collective, the Vice President of Internal Affairs of 10tative, a Freelance Visual Artist and a member of multiple dance affiliated groups across the country such as Battle Krew, Shady Gang, Pitik Pinoy, Pinay Hip Hop, The Baguio Street Dance Community, and Tha Bounce.

She was introduced to the performing arts at the age of 3, her education circulating around activities that furthered her interest and skills in that area. In 2012, she began focusing more on dance and a year after, won her school’s talent show, joined her school’s dance crew, A.I.M. (Activate, Innovate, Motivate Crew) and in 2016, joined her former group Alab Danse Company, investing in workshops and formal training in the different styles of dance from traditional, to street and contemporary. For the past 9 years, she has taken part in teaching, coaching groups and schools, producing shows and concerts, choreography and performance of multiple pieces, collaborating with a variety of performing artists and brands from dance, the visual arts, and the film industry, and participating in dance competitions and festivals from the local to the international scene, representing the country. 

Currently, she is focusing on the development and improvement of her own movement, heading local projects focused on community, sharing the foundations, culture, history and dance of Hip Hop and Popping to all ages and using dance as a means to help individuals with disabilities.
