Neil Valdez aka Mr. NVP

Neil began his dance journey in 2007, was actively joining inter-school dance competitions that sparked his passion for movement and performance.

From 2013 to 2016, he represented his department in the SLU Dance Festival under the pop/hiphop category, earning three 1st runner-up finishes and one championship title. Over the years, he found his groove in Dancehall, a street dance style rooted in Jamaican culture. Committed to learning and evolving, Neil trains under both local and international Dancehall mentors, including renowned Jamaican dancers, sharpening his skills with authenticity and depth.

As a co-founder of Dancehall Baguio and a dedicated member of groups like 10tative, Train 2 Zion, and the Dancehall Philippines community, Neil continues to represent both locally and internationally in battles and competitions and has previously danced with Filipinescas Dance Republic, One Jah, and AKA. With his foundation and passion for Dancehall, Neil continues to push the culture forward while inspiring the next generation of dancers.
